Slowing Down to Peace

This week I've slowed down, a LOT, and I find myself sinking slowly into the harmony of the present moment. It feels wonderful :) Here are a few inspirations that resonate with me today. I hope they bring a little light to your day.

“Know and understand that there will be challenges and difficult times. Don’t try to avoid them. Welcome them. Gratefully...Seek to see no one, and nothing, as the enemy – or even the problem. Cultivate the technique of seeing all problems as opportunities. Opportunities to be, and decide, Who You Really Are.”

- Neale Donald Walsch, Conversations with God

"In a pandemic, self-isolation is called quarantine. In Buddhism, it is called retreat. From the cave of our home, like the meditators of ancient times, we can consciously kindle the lamp of compassion and connection."

- Lama Willa Miller

“So far as I can see, we are the only species with the capacity to be more than we are, perhaps even more than we dream we are, and the potential to get wherever it is that we choose to go.”

- Gregory David Roberts, Mountain Shadow

Love from the peace and harmony of the present,
Rachelle

P.S. I'm making some fabric face masks to donate to organizations in need. Please reach out if your organization or one that you know of is looking for these! There will also be some available for sale on my website in the next couple days. :)

P.P.S. Get outside and feel the sun on your face ☀️
